The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) Prevention + Support Centre in Vancouver is an expanded and reimagined headquarters and support facility for the Canadian Cancer Society’s West Coast operations. The project integrates the CCS office, research space, and the Jean C. Barber Lodge (a patient lodge) into a unified, non-institutional building that supports cancer prevention research, survivorship programs, and patient accommodation, with shared amenities such as fitness, meditation, and community spaces. The design emphasizes community engagement, functional integration, and a strong public presence within Vancouver’s health district.
