Meads Bay Beachfront Residence
Project: Residential
Location: Meads Bay, Anguilla
Phase: Concept Design
The project is a contemporary beachfront stacked apartment visioning study for a private client overlooking Meads Bay, exploring a refined low-density luxury residential typology tailored to the coastal environment. The development consists of five expansive two-bedroom residences, including two large ground-level apartments of approximately 185–220 m² and three elevated three-storey duplex units ranging from approximately 240–280 m², carefully arranged to maximize ocean views, privacy, natural light, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. The architectural expression emphasizes clean orthogonal geometry, layered horizontal volumes, and a restrained resort-inspired material palette of limestone, travertine, warm microcement, natural oak, and low-iron glazing. Interior spaces are conceived as calm extensions of the landscape, with double-height volumes, open-plan living areas, recessed terraces, private courtyards, and integrated plunge pools that reinforce a tranquil wellness-oriented lifestyle. The project balances refined contemporary architecture with site responsiveness, environmental sensitivity, and elevated beachfront living.
